Caravansary — travel retreats for English-speaking digital nomads
The task
Caravansary (caravansary.net) is a camp for adults; retreats run all over the world, the audience is English-speaking digital nomads. The task — drive leads for the retreats. Project specifics: the geo is “the whole world”, the product is unconventional, and the audience cannot be described with a single interest targeting — nomads are scattered across countries and platforms.
What we did
- Worked on two platforms: Instagram and Reddit. Reddit here is not exotic but a logical choice — English-speaking nomad communities live exactly there.
- Campaigns were run for leads. Results are recorded in two slices: the detailed case ($1,512.14 budget) and the summary data across the full scope of work ($3,200).
Results
- Summary: $3,200 budget → 160 leads, cost per lead $20.
- Detailed slice: $1,512.14 budget → 78 leads, cost per subscriber $19.38.

Insights
- Cost per lead holds at ~$20 in both slices ($19.38 and $20): doubling the budget did not raise the price — the combo scales without degradation.
- A stable $20 per lead is a planning baseline: the client calculates the cost of a retreat participant by multiplying the cost per lead by their lead-to-payment conversion, and knows the recruitment economics in advance.
- Global geo with no country binding is a working strategy for niche English-language products: the audience is defined by language and lifestyle, not location.
