Psychology school (YouTube/Google): 18,965 sign-ups at $2.9, 284% ROMI, $55K budget
Updated:
The task
Drive sign-ups for a psychology school’s online product through paid traffic. The project’s defining feature is scale: a $55,000 budget in the online education niche, where the usual problem is a rising cost per sign-up as spend grows and the “cheap” part of the audience burns out fast.
What we did
Launched and managed ad campaigns in YouTube and Google Ads with traffic going to sign-up. Working for volume: the task was not to catch cheap sign-ups once, but to steadily collect them by the thousands while holding the economics.
Results
- Ad budget — $55,000
- Sign-ups — 18,965
- Cost per sign-up — $2.9
- ROMI — 284%

Insights
The case’s main figure is an average cost per sign-up of $2.9 on a $55,000 budget: the channel absorbed almost 19,000 sign-ups without breaking the funnel economics. For online schools this answers the key scaling question — can you multiply the budget and keep the cost per lead. A 284% ROMI at this volume means the YouTube + Google Ads combo works not as a test channel but as the school’s main source of paid traffic. The case is under NDA: we disclose the niche and figures without the brand name.
